Breaking the rules: looking at Project Life

I guess IF Mommy can stand on the chairs
to take pictures of the Project Life album,
I can't hardly yell at the baby for breaking the rules
(laying on the table) to look at the Project Life album.
WE LOVE PROJECT LIFE!!!! :)

Win-Win! (movie time vs. Project Life)

Mommy shares a corner of her computer screen so that Little Man can watch a Sesame Street movie while Mommy works on Project Life. (Designing in InDesign.)

PL2013_Week14

Week 14... here's a peek at our week:

Design A is my go-to each week. Although, thanks to all of the inspiration on the internet, I'm starting to admire other designs more and more. (I've got a collection of other designs in a binder, but don't break them out very often.)

One of these days, I *might* consider stepping out of my comfort zone.

Thanks to the internet, I had SOMEWHERE seen a small monthly calendar used in the 3x4 spot on a Project Life page and really, really liked that look. Hello, InDesign... I'd like to create and add a calendar to each week's spread. (I added it to my blank template file that I open and SAVE AS each week.) I like that I can easily add an upcoming week to my current printing load at Walgreens, if I am in need of an extra 3x4. Sometimes, I am adding some description below them; other times, NOT. I like the flexibility... no rules.

I had gotten away from a weekly photo of our calendar because I had wanted to have more handwriting. Discovered that I have LOTS of empty spaces left in my PL album to catch up on my weekly WEEK IN REVIEW and that I had kept up with it better when it was a weekly photo. Again, NO RULES!

Used Design H to add pics from our WINDOW project/PAINTING session.

This week, also included 8.5x11 certificates with handprints.

Got a bookmark from the library a while ago (with stickers on it) that had the PBS kids logo on it; found a PERFECT place for it on this week's 3x4 card - talking about Sydney's constant WANT of some imaginary invention that he saw on tv.

Journaling:Thanks to PBS... Sydney wants a CAT IN THE HAT Thing-a-majigger, a SUPER WHY why-flyer and COUNTLESS "inventions" from SID THE SCIENCE KID'S many "Super-Duper-Ooper-Schmooper BIG IDEAS!"

PL2013_Week13

Week 13:
I am pleased that I haven't fallen behind. It feels GOOD to be caught up! Stopped at Walgreens this morning to pick up pics for this week already; printed last Saturday's pic, Sunday and Monday, as well as 2 of the 3x4's.

The kids and I LOVE to look at our Project Life album(s). I am SO GLAD that I am doing this... for me, for US! (Hubby doesn't seem to be all that interested in it; hopefully, he will grow to treasure it as much as we do...)  – March 26, 2013

Picked up my pics from Walgreen's this morning and couldn't wait to get them into my album.

ALSO, got my box from HSN this week. Loved the JADE EDITION that is NOW in my possession. I feel like ONE LUCKY LADY!
