Recently, I had to flip back through my previous Project Life albums (in search of something) and really admired my previous use of my own handwriting and journaling cards. It seems that last year, I got away from that more... as I was pretty photo heavy and did a lot of my journaling right on the photos.
So, you may have noticed, I am leaving my journaling cards blank for now (and will hand write them when I place the printed pics into my album.)
I also admired my Week in Review cards where my own handwriting was documented.
THAT is the beauty if Project Life; I can make it work FOR ME!
Right now, I am loving the fonts Frutiger and Cheltenham. (Last year, I used a lot of IMPACT for headings and American Typewriter for journaling.) I really like that I can mix it up to suite MY NEEDS.
I am liking that I include (somewhere... pics or journaling) what I am reading. I've also been saving receipts to document what we are paying for a gallon of milk and a gallon of gas; I think I will enjoy looking back on those items someday and saying "I remember when we paid... x for such-n-such."
(I have NOT had my prints made from Walgreens yet for this week. It seems like they offer deals if I print 50 pics at once. Stalling...)
